Going For A Walk
I went to visit Ryan, Christy and the girls and was available to take pictures of the girls taking a walk together. Madisen loved the stroller and played in it for days in the house. Avery was happy to be outside. Christy was happy to be able to get outside and walk with both girls. What beautiful faces! I had so much fun.

Dylan and Tammy
At Jason & Jessica's wedding we were able to get together with family and friends. I love this picture because Dylan has grown so much and is such a sweet boy. We don't get to see him as much as we would like but it sure was fun to play before the wedding started. Dylan was a big help preparing for the wedding (we picked up a lot of beans). Infact, we both got in trouble for running around too much and had to sit in time out!

Temple Square at Christmas (2007)
Since my mother (Norma) had never seen the lights at Temple Square, we went up to Salt Lake City, UT and spent several days looking at the lights, attending a broadcast of "The Spoken Word" and visiting the LDS Church Museum. Ryan, Christy, Madisen and Avery came down to spend time with us. During our stay Mom, Ryan and Christy were able to attend the SLC Temple. What a wonderful blessing! I am so proud of my mother for changing her lifestyle so that she could go to the Temple with her grandson and granddaughter.
We stayed at the Residence Inn close to Temple Square and Madi and I went outside to check out a snowman in front of the hotel.
As we toured the LDS Church Museum Madi and Bob were inseperable and they both had a hard time saying goodbye.
We had so much fun seeing the sights and just spending time together. Unfortunately it was very cold and poor Madi had a fever but we were all able to have a wonderful time together. I think that this will become a family tradition and hopefully more of our children and grandchildren will be able to join us.

Welcome Jackson!
We are so happy to welcome Jackson to the world. He had a bit of a hard time getting here but he seems to be adjusting just fine. He is so good natured and sweet. We know how grateful your parents are that you are here safe and sound.
Bob and I made it to the hospital just before Jackson was born. We were all a bit worried because his heart rate was very low for a while but once he was born he was healthy and happy. Heidi and Jared will make wonderful parents and we know how relieved they are to have him here. This has been a very busy week, two babies just days apart!

Welcome Avery Eve!
We are so excited, Ryan and Christy have been blessed with another baby girl! We thought that she would be early like Madisen but we had to wait for weeks for her to finally come. I'm so glad that she was able to be born later and be healthier. Well Ryan, you can empathise with me now since you live in a house full of girls. I always wanted a girl but I couldn't have traded any of you boys.
Madisen doesn't quite know what to do with her yet but I'm sure she'll figure it out soon. Ryan and Christy are such great parents and little Avery will add so much to their family.
Here is a picture of the new family. Christy it was such a good idea to Madisen a baby of her own until she learns how to care for Avery. I absolutly love the name Avery Eve, it is so beautiful just like her. Congratulations!

When Madisen Smiles...
This is a layout about parenthood. It is so amazing to me that we bring these precious spirits into the world, they grow up and have children of their own who look just like them! To hold ones grandchild in your arms and have your child's eyes look back at you is awe inspiring. I know that Madisen is going to be her own person and I'm so thankful that she has Ryan and Christy to help guide her.
